Following the Pahalgam terrorist attack and subsequent diplomatic pressure from India, Pakistan is signaling a change in stance. The nation has expressed willingness to engage in a 'neutral and transparent' probe into the Pahalgam attack. Addressing army cadets at the Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif remarked, "The recent tragedy in Pahalgam serves as yet another instance of the blame game that needs to cease entirely."
He emphasized Pakistan's readiness to partake in any impartial, transparent, and credible investigation, reflecting its role as a responsible nation.
In a stern tone, Shehbaz Sharif warned that Pakistan would explore all options should India choose to restrict its share of water. Water is considered a vital lifeline and national interest for Pakistan, and its availability will be safeguarded at all costs and under all circumstances.
"A Firm Response Awaits..."
Shehbaz Sharif declared, "Peace remains our priority. Pakistan is prepared to engage in any neutral dialogue. We will never compromise on our integrity and security." He further asserted, "No one must remain under any false assumptions, as our fully capable and ready armed forces stand prepared against any adventurism to defend the nation's dignity, sovereignty, and integrity."
On the Indus Waters Treaty, the Prime Minister stated that any attempt to reduce or divert Pakistani waters will be met with full force.

"The Indus is Ours!"
Previously, Pakistan's leader Bilawal Bhutto asserted that either water will flow through the Indus River, or their blood. "The Indus River is ours and will always remain ours," he claimed.
Delivering a passionate speech by the banks of the Indus in Sukkur, Bilawal Bhutto declared, "Standing by the Indus River, I want to make it clear—this river always was, is, and will remain ours. Either our rightful share of water will flow, or the blood of those attempting to seize it."
