The application process for the SSC SI recruitment started on March 4 and will continue until March 28, 2024. The last date for fee submission is March 29, with a chance to make corrections in the application form on March 30 and 31.
SSC SI Recruitment Exams Scheduled for May
The official notice suggests that the Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and CAPF. The exams, to be conducted in CBT mode, are scheduled for May 9, 10, and 13, 2024.
Who can apply?
Departmental candidates with a minimum of three years of service as Constables, Head Constables, and Assistants can apply for the Delhi Police SI recruitment. Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized university. The maximum age limit for candidates is 30 years, with relaxations up to 33 years for OBC candidates and 35 years for SC/ST candidates.
Application Fee
The application fee for the SSC CPO 2024 exam is ₹100. However, women candidates and those eligible for reservation, including Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Ex-Servicemen, are exempted from the fee payment.
SSC SI Exam Pattern
The exam will consist of Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET), followed by Paper-II and a Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Paper-I will feature questions on General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Paper-II will test proficiency in the English Language.
