On the 20th day of the ongoing Parliament Monsoon Session, chaos over the issue of Bihar's voter list revision persisted in both houses. The commotion led to the proceedings being adjourned first up to noon and then until 2 PM. In the midst of this uproar, IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw proposed the bill concerning the promotion and regulation of online gaming, amidst opposition members waving posters in protest.

The discussion on the bill did not commence, leading presiding officer PC Mohan to adjourn the proceedings until 2 PM. Before the Lok Sabha's proceedings were halted, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju took a strong stance against the protesting opposition. He remarked that such slogans have been ongoing since the onset of the monsoon session. He stated that discussions have been on the roster for three days to honor Captain Shubanshu Shukla.

Rijiju expressed regret, noting that the national hero who waved India's flag in space was not given the honor, which he deemed shameful behavior. He remarked on how the world laughs at these antics, suggesting they reconsider. Rijiju further commented that now even schoolchildren are questioning if members of Parliament truly behave this way.

He advised the opposition to reflect, stating that the government's business will proceed. The duties entrusted to them for the nation's welfare will be fulfilled. Disturbances only harm those causing them. Rijiju emphasized that the parliament belongs to everyone, and such chaos primarily affects the newer opposition members. He suggested that the idea of gaining from disruption is a false hope, and public perception will eventually reject such behavior.

Rijiju underscored that no sympathy will be earned by the opposition and invited them to engage in discussions on bills and participate in honoring Captain Shubanshu Shukla. Earlier, at 11 AM, when the Lok Sabha resumed, protests led to an adjournment until noon. The commotion prevented the question hour from proceeding. Similar issues plagued the Rajya Sabha, leading to adjournments first until noon and then until 2 PM.
