'Not Mediation, Just Dialogue': Tharoor Clarifies India's Intentions

India's team is on a global mission to expose Pakistan's truth. Led by Congressman Shashi Tharoor, a delegation has embarked on an international tour, aiming to unveil Pakistan's dark deeds in the USA, Panama, Guyana, Brazil, and Colombia. Earlier, in a discussion with 'Aaj Tak,' Tharoor outlined India’s diplomatic role and policies and addressed Trump’s claims about mediation.

Congressman Shashi Tharoor reiterated India's commitment to transparency and dialogue in its foreign policy, yet firmly stated that this should not be confused with formal mediation. He emphasized, "Our government's stance is well-known; during crises, communication with countries seeking help is customary. However, this doesn’t imply formal mediation was requested or initiated."

Tharoor Illustrates with Examples

Citing examples, Tharoor noted, "If a nation reaches out to discuss and we share our actions, is that mediation? I don't think so."

Tharoor continued, stating, "Our Foreign Minister publicly discloses contacts made by other foreign ministers. Each call and interaction is transparently detailed on social media."

Tharoor leads one of seven parliamentary groups representing India globally.

Tharoor affirmed that while abroad, he will present India’s clear and unified stance. He stressed the importance of a united front as the world closely observes India.
