Sahitya Aaj Tak Lucknow 2025:
The city of culture and refinement, Lucknow, is once again the setting for the grand festival of literature, art, and entertainment, 'Sahitya Aaj Tak Lucknow'. This grand festival of literary stars is being organized at Gomti Nagar's Ambedkar Memorial Park, where diverse artists and stars gather on February 15 and 16, engaging in discussions on books, films, political debates, and musical performances.
On the first day, the grand congregation of literature saw the 'Dastak Stage-1' light up with youthful poets reciting verses filled with emotions. Shaira Himanshi Bhavra, Nadeem Shaad, Sanju Shabdita, Adarsh Dubey, and Balmohan Pandey presented their works. The charismatic anchor Saeed Ansari hosted the session, inviting each poet with eloquence.
The gathering began with a beautiful piece by
Shaira Himanshi Bhavra
, whose voice and style left a memorable impression on the audience. She recited:
Are you nostalgic for those loving times, my friend? Once you listen, you repeatedly express yourself.
A bit of caution is advised, don't confront me. Witnessing me might embarrass you, they say.
What can I say? Love couldn't be contained, and fear was never felt in this world.
I hoped for love from you, yet you showed those same days avoided by the unseen.
The separation felt like freedom.
The hand was close yet unattainable, such was my fate. If you reconciled with me, you'd reconcile with the world.

Following Himanshi, young poet
Adarsh Dubey
read his compositions, infusing the atmosphere with freshness. His every couplet struck a chord, narrating tales of love, solitude, and emotions.
Before you extinguish me, frighten me with certain darkness. How do you ascertain it's me inside? Open your heart and show me.
Offer poison if you must, but do not lower me in your gaze.
A borrowed moment within which someone could spend eons. In the world of calamities, there's no telling where or when someone might meet their end.
A promise beneath whose shade a lifetime could be spent. How lonely am I atop this peak, if someone would help me down?
A moment to soothe the heart of the lamps, the sun could ignite elsewhere.
I can't change faces daily; send someone to change my mirrors.
I desire to reach your heart gradually. First, I wish my poetry reaches you.
Observe the charm of the village, sir, where the moon resides in simple homes.

Next,
Balmohan Pandey
captivated the audience with his poems. His verses gained much appreciation as he shared:
Even celebrations appear somber; you see springtime.
From afar, how can I read your face? Draw closer, my vision is weak.
When I bring your image to mind, nothing else comes. If I think of something else, it appears suddenly.
With such regret, he touched my hand, and my heart filled before the wound.
She came adorned to meet me, yet out of embarrassment, I failed to offer the bouquet.
While others grow weary, I remain longing. In giving a voice, I turn to see.
He claimed all hopes rest with divine. Yet looking my way, as if I'm the divine.
Then
Sanju Shabdita
came forward with songs and poems, earning admiration.
Write my name on your palm and hide it. Always arrive on the roof before dusk
Because of you, I filled the matriculation form
Even you planned to part before the board exams
Even queens are imprisoned, my life regretted in such a lineage.
End it all at once, daily death offers no comfort.
Oceans thirst, mere names, forget that people of importance are of use.
Finally,
Nadeem Shaad
enchanted audiences with his soulful renditions, leaving listeners spellbound:
Though difficult, I've learned magic. Now I've learned self-control.
Politeness was your inheritance, when did you learn arguments?
Remove your hand from your eyes, I know it's you. I recognize your scent, even your presence.
Wandering in grief, it whispered, where to go? You're known throughout the city.
Chains of tradition can be broken; for you, the world can be left behind.
After forgetting, I realized, any habit can be left behind.
Not sharing my story, but tell me, where's this person suitable for you?
One needs unwavering passion to battle the world for love. To love, courage is necessary. I covered my cigarette upon seeing you, how much respect you expect from this boy?
Your time, your prerogative, do what can be endured later.
If trouble arises, what will panic achieve? Find a way to live, what will dying achieve?
Together, let's make our voice reach the moon, my shouting won't do much alone.
