Following US strikes on three nuclear facilities, Iran has issued its first statement. They affirm that their nuclear sites remain unharmed and fully secure, denying any risk of radiation leaks.
The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) announced Sunday that after the US aerial assaults, there is no threat of radiation leaks from major nuclear sites. This news comes from Iranian state media reports.

'Iran's Nuclear Program Unstoppable'
The organization assures the public that safety checks revealed no radiation. Furthermore, it clarified that the nation’s nuclear program, deemed a 'National Industry', will persist despite these assaults.
The AEOI considers these attacks a breach of international law and stated its legal proceedings have commenced to safeguard its national interests. Iran calls on the global community to condemn these strikes and support its right to peaceful nuclear development.

Bombs Dropped by B-2 Spirit Stealth Bombers
On Sunday morning, aligning with Indian time, the US targeted three of Iran’s nuclear sites. B-2 bombers struck Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. Highly advanced B-2 Spirit Stealth Bombers, counted among the most strategic platforms of the US Air Force, were employed for this operation.
President Trump called the attacks an 'immensely successful operation' and claimed the Fordow Center, once the vital part of Iran’s nuclear venture, is now 'completely destroyed'.
Iran's Foreign Ministry Issues Statement
Iran's Foreign Ministry strongly condemned these military actions by the US, emphasizing the violation of the UN Charter and basic principles of international law. Iran holds the aggressive and unlawful US government responsible for the dire consequences of this serious crime.
Iran criticized the US military aggression, once again uncovering US malevolent intentions and hostility against the Iranian populace. Iran believes it has the right to resist this aggression and defend its national security and interests robustly. Iran reminds the United Nations, Security Council, Secretary-General, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and other relevant international bodies of their responsibilities to act against this criminal violation.
'The World's Silence Carries a Heavy Cost'
Iran warns that global silence on this blatant aggression could jeopardize the world at large. The Ministry asserts that the role of IAEA and its Director General is now more highlighted than ever. They call on the IAEA Board of Governors to convene urgently and address the US attack on Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities, all operating under stringent IAEA monitoring and security protocols.
Iran states the world must not forget how the US supported aggressive and illegal steps by the Israeli regime, betraying diplomatic avenues, leading now to a dangerous war against Iran. It is now starkly clear that the country, which claims permanent membership in the UN Security Council, neither respects rules nor ethics. It pursues genocidal, illegal occupation interests at any cost.
