After raising concerns over the deteriorating law and order in Bihar, Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan has clarified his earlier statements against Nitish Kumar’s government.

Speaking in Delhi, Union Minister Chirag Paswan declared, 'Those who aim to weaken the NDA's strength for personal gains are dreaming in vain. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, we are contesting the elections and anticipate he shall be reinstated as Chief Minister post-elections. We are advancing towards a historic victory...'

It's noteworthy that Chirag Paswan previously voiced stern criticism against Nitish Kumar’s government due to continuous murders and increasing crime rate, expressing his embarrassment in supporting such an administration.

What Did Chirag Say Earlier?

He had stated, 'I am embarrassed to support a government where criminals have no fear, and common citizens, particularly Biharis, aren't safe. The government should awaken now, or conditions will worsen.' Earlier, Chirag Paswan had also questioned Bihar's law and order after businessman Gopal Khemka was murdered in Patna. He even met BJP President JP Nadda to discuss Bihar’s law situation.

Chirag Paswan’s remarks not only became leverage for the opposition but also sparked speculation that everything wasn’t harmonious in the NDA, suggesting he might explore new paths separate from the alliance. However, he has now put these speculations to rest with his clarification.
