The investigation into Bengaluru AI engineer Atul Subhash's suicide is ongoing. Police have recorded the statements of all accused, including Atul's wife, Nikita Singhania. However, police sources reveal a lack of cooperation from Atul's brother, Vikas Modi. After filing the case, he has failed to deliver evidence to the investigating officer. A notice was served to him for questioning.

The Bengaluru police need to gather evidence to confirm if the handwriting in the suicide note matches Atul Subhash's. Vikas, Atul's brother, is required to provide evidence supporting the allegations in his complaint, including a letter for handwriting verification penned by Atul. The evidence collected so far has been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory for analysis.

Investigations also uncover that Nikita Singhania filed several cases against her husband Atul Subhash in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. One such case involved unnatural sex, which was later withdrawn. Approximately 10 cases had been filed against Atul, forcing him to frequently travel between Bengaluru and Jaunpur, causing him considerable distress.

On Saturday, Bengaluru police arrested Nikita, her mother, and brother from Gurugram and Prayagraj. After appearing in the local court, they were placed under judicial custody for 14 days. The 34-year-old Atul Subhash was found hanging in his home in Munnekolalu, Southeast Bengaluru, on December 9th. Prior to his death, he authored a 40-page suicide note and recorded a video.

Karnataka’s Home Minister, G. Parameshwara, stated on Sunday that Atul’s wife, mother-in-law, and brother-in-law were arrested and remain in judicial custody. He commented, "Atul Subhash left behind a 40-page suicide note raising several issues, primarily focusing on the misuse of laws designed for women's protection. He was reportedly pressured for 30 million rupees."

Prior to their arrest, Nikita, her mother, brother, and uncle had filed for anticipatory bail in the Allahabad High Court. On Friday, Bengaluru police issued a summons to Nikita Singhania, demanding her appearance in the court within three days, leading to the filing of this plea. On Sunday, the homes of Nikita and her uncle Sushil Singhania in Jaunpur were found shut, after which police pasted the notice.
