The 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib was marked by a Nagar Kirtan organized in Srinagar by the Punjab government, which saw participation from Arvind Kejriwal, the national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party. Together with Punjab's Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann, Kejriwal ceremoniously flagged off the procession from Srinagar towards Anandpur Sahib.
The procession will arrive in Anandpur on November 22, where the Punjab government will host various grand events in honor of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib's martyrdom. Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, also participated and sought blessings by bowing before Guru Sahib Ji.
Arvind Kejriwal expressed his profound gratitude for the opportunity to attend such a sacred event, considering it a blessing to partake in the journey. He believes it is a shared responsibility to pass on the eternal story of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib’s humanity, sacrifice, and courage to future generations.
