Although the Delhi Assembly election has no direct link to Madhya Pradesh, the victory of BJP candidate Parvesh Verma on the New Delhi seat has created a wave of enthusiasm in the city of Dhar. Parvesh Verma happens to be the son-in-law of Dhar's BJP MLA, Neena Verma. He married Neena Verma's eldest daughter, Rinku, also known as Swati, in 2002.
Following Parvesh Verma's win, BJP workers immediately visited Neena Verma's residence to express their immense joy. The celebrations continued with fireworks, lively drum beats, and the sharing of sweets.
BJP Mandal President Vishal Nigam disclosed, 'Parvesh Verma is the son-in-law of Dhar and frequently visits to support Neena Verma during elections. He maintains direct contact with several workers here. A large number from Dhar traveled to Delhi to actively participate in campaign efforts. His victory prompted widespread celebration among the supporters here.'

Swati's mother is the current BJP MLA in MP, a position she also held back in 2013. Meanwhile, her father, Vikram Verma, has served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly.
BJP leader Vikram Verma was once a prominent figure in MP's political sphere. Parvesh’s father-in-law even held leadership as the Education and Sports Minister in the Madhya Pradesh government and was elected as the MLA four times.
Swati earned an MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Foreign Trade in Pune in 2002. Parvesh and Swati Singh have three children: a son named Shiven and daughters Sanidhi and Prisha.
