The strings of this high-profile cocaine seizure also lead back to Dubai. Notably, the name of a prominent businessman from Dubai, alleged to be a key cocaine supplier, has emerged. Agencies have long identified Dubai as a strategic safe zone for drug trades orchestrated by D Company.
A Massive 560 kg Cocaine Haul
Pramod Kushwaha, Additional Commissioner of Special Cell, confirmed the seizure of 560 kilograms of cocaine along with 40 kilograms of marijuana valued at around 20 crores. The marijuana, reportedly flown in from Phuket, aligns with intelligence received from central agencies three months ago, alerting them about an extensive drug trafficking module within the country.
