Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made his way to Nagpur. At Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, he was warmly welcomed by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, and a host of distinguished leaders. This visit by PM Modi, rich with cultural and historical significance, is particularly noteworthy. During his stay, PM Modi paid his respects at the memorial of Dr. K.B. Hedgewar, the esteemed founder of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and will also visit Deekshabhoomi to honor Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. This journey coincides with the celebrations of the Gudi Padwa festival as well as a grand event organized by the RSS.

Tributes to RSS Founders
In a poignant moment of remembrance, Prime Minister Modi visited the Smriti Temple in Reshim Bagh to pay homage to Dr. Hedgewar, as well as the memorial dedicated to the second RSS leader, Madhav Sadasiv Golwalkar (Guruji).
PM Modi is also scheduled to visit Deekshabhoomi, the historic site where Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar converted to Buddhism along with thousands of followers in 1956. Here, he aims to salute Ambedkar's influential thoughts and immense contributions to social reform.
Impeccable Security Arrangements
With an emphasis on security, the Special Protection Group (SPG), alongside Nagpur Police, orchestrated a comprehensive rehearsal to ensure Prime Minister Modi's safety during his visit to Nagpur. The convoy will include 20 special vehicles equipped with VIP protection features and vehicles with Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (RCEID) jammers.
