In the district of Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, a birthday celebration turned into a tragedy when a 15-year-old boy drowned at Parichha Dam. This unfortunate event occurred on Friday when Rinku, along with his friends Divyansh Bhart and Chetan, arrived at the dam to celebrate a birthday. The police took custody of the body and sent it for a post-mortem examination.
According to reports, after the party, the three friends decided to swim in the dam. It was during this time that Rinku ventured into deeper waters and began to drown. His friends raised an alarm, immediately notifying local residents and the police. Despite their best efforts, and with the help of local divers, Rinku could not be located on Friday.
On Saturday afternoon, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team arrived and commenced a thorough search operation. After several hours of diligent efforts, Rinku's body was found at another end of the dam late in the evening. The news of Rinku's death has left his family and friends in deep sorrow.
Police officials stated that Rinku's body was sent for a post-mortem, and an inquiry into the incident is underway. Circle Officer Moth Ajay Kumar Shrotriya confirmed the event, noting that preliminary investigations indicate it was an accident. Further actions are being initiated regarding the case.
