On Saturday, BJP released the third and final installment of its manifesto for the upcoming Delhi Assembly Elections. Unveiling the manifesto, Union Home Minister Amit Shah promised that if the party assumes power, gig workers will be offered life insurance of ₹1 million and accident insurance worth ₹500,000. Furthermore, a Yamuna Riverfront, inspired by Gujarat's Sabarmati Riverfront, is also on the cards.

Amit Shah reiterated BJP's commitment to generating 50,000 jobs and creating 2 million self-employment opportunities. He also vowed to grant complete ownership rights in 1,700 unauthorized colonies, encompassing buying, selling, and construction.

The Union Home Minister proclaimed, "BJP shall deliver free medical treatment to senior citizens under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, approving this in the very first Cabinet meeting. We are working on reopening the 13,000 shops sealed during the AAP government and transitioning 13,000 buses to electric buses. BJP will cleanse the Yamuna within three years."

He commented on Arvind Kejriwal's unfulfilled promise to clean the Yamuna. Shah noted Kejriwal's pledge to transform the river within seven years, reminiscent of the Thames, and even take a dip in it. "People of Delhi are awaiting your iconic Yamuna plunge, Arvind. Perhaps, if not in Yamuna, you may seek redemption at the Mahakumbh," Shah teased.

He further declared, "We'll clean the Yamuna in three years and establish a riverfront like Sabarmati's. I invite Arvind Kejriwal and his family to take a dive in the Yamuna after three years."

Accusations Against AAP Government

Amit Shah alleged corruption scandals involving liquor, ration, DTC buses, panic buttons, CCTV, school classrooms, Sheeshmahal, lab reports, tanker mafias exploiting water boards, and trash mismanagement, claiming promotional spends devoured all finances. The Supreme Court reprimanded the government over advertising budgets, demanding out-of-pocket reimbursement. "We've invested in airport, metro, roads, etc., and only central government efforts have shaped Delhi. Absent our engagement, the capital's state would have deteriorated," Shah remarked.

Emphasizing BJP's belief in fulfilling promises, Shah accused AAP of shuttering their plans once in power. "I wish to clarify—should BJP ascend to power, welfare schemes will proceed unimpeded, offering benefits to the impoverished and needy," he assured.

Shah Vows to Sustain Welfare Programs for the Poor

Highlighting false advertising indicating Delhi was bankrupt due to borrowings and Supreme Court's unpaid dues, Shah commented on advertisements propagating fake narratives, misleading people into thinking BJP would halt welfare initiatives. "Modi-ji has pledged not a single welfare scheme will cease. Never resort to such deceptive calls," reinforced Shah. During festivities like Diwali and Holi, pregnant mothers will receive ₹21,000 and health kits, and the Ayushman Bharat scheme will launch, amplifying OPD, diagnostic services for the needy, and Atal Canteens for quality meals in JJ clusters.
