Despite court authorizations, Imran Khan's sisters and legal team are barred from meeting him in Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail. Three weeks have passed since the siblings last saw him, leading them to claim that there's no official update on his current location or health status.
Imran's sister Noreen has issued a formal complaint to the Punjab IG concerning the 'harsh attacks' on protesters outside Adiala Jail.

Last week, Imran's sisters staged a sit-in outside Adiala Jail, where PTI says he remains detained along with other members who are also denied visitation. PTI claims that sisters Aleema Khan, Dr. Uzma Khan, and Noreen were peacefully seated when police allegedly mishandled them, violently detaining Imran’s siblings. During the incident, one sister was dragged along the ground.

Videos from PTI's social media account show Aleema, Uzma, and other activists encircled by protesters after police handling left Najma appearing distressed. Her hands visibly trembled, while Aleema alleged that policewomen had dragged her along the ground.

On that day, mass protests demanded Imran Khan's release and political justice. PTI is organizing district-level protests, rallies, and gatherings across the country, raising voices against alleged governmental injustice, political oppression, and human rights violations.
Imran Khan Still Detained
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been held in Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail since August 2023. The National Accountability Bureau arrested him on alleged corruption charges related to the Al-Qadir Trust case, which involved his wife, Bushra Bibi.
Imran Khan, a cricketer-turned-politician, faces allegations of accepting 60 acres of land donated by real estate magnate Malik Riaz Hussain under the guise of a trust, supposedly causing substantial financial loss to the state.
In January 2025, the court sentenced Khan to 14 years in prison, while Bushra received a seven-year sentence. Other charges against Imran Khan are also pending.
