Congress MP Rahul Gandhi accused widespread voter fraud during the last elections. He claimed that the voter list contains numerous names of voters whose house numbers are zero, encompassing both men and women. In some cases, their father's name field featured random characters. In a press conference, he shared several examples of such voters.
Using the Bengaluru Central Lok Sabha seat as an example, Rahul Gandhi presented a few questionable names.
He highlighted a female voter named Tika Kumari Acharya on video screen. This 35-year-old's house number is zero, and her EPIC number is SVF8280943. Her husband's name is YTDTR.
He also cited Tek Raj Sapkota, a 40-year-old voter whose father's name is DFOGADF. His house number is zero, and his EPIC number is SVF8249344.
On the same booth, there's a 38-year-old voter named Sarita Devi, whose father's name is ITSDLHUG, with a house number of zero, registered on booth number 432.
Rahul claimed there are three types of discrepancies: missing addresses, zero addresses, and unverifiable addresses, affecting 40,000 voters.
He mentioned instances of multiple voters residing in a single dwelling. One such house listed 80 voters, exemplified by booth number 470—a single-room house.
On booth number 366, he reported 46 voters from different families residing in one bedroom space. Upon visiting, they found no evidence of anyone there. He said, upon arrival, that no trace of them was found.
He provided another example, questioning how 68 people could reside in a brewery named 153 BIERE Club, and received no answers when inquiring about these people's identities.
He stated that 4,132 voters had unclear or diminutive photographs.
The Congress MP also indicated errors involving first-time voters' names—33,692 individuals had Form-6 wrongly applied. He cited a 70-year-old named Shakoon Rani, who was listed twice, with Form-6 misused in her name, allowing her or someone impersonating her to vote twice.
Rahul declared that 33,000 people did this in such Lok Sabha constituencies.
