The Canadian police have detained India's notorious gangster, Arsh Dalla, one of the top figures on India's most-wanted list. Reports indicate that he was apprehended following a shootout on November 27-28 in which he participated. The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a shooting incident that took place in Milton last Monday morning, and Arsh is currently being questioned in connection with this event.

According to Indian security agencies, Arsh Dalla fled India and has been residing in Canada with his wife. On Sunday, his two henchmen were arrested in Faridkot, Punjab, for their involvement in the murder of Gurpreet Singh. These shooters, acting on Dalla's instructions, also executed the murder of Jaswant Singh Gill in Gwalior, as informed by Punjab Police DGP.

The DGP explained that during a joint operation by the State Special Operation Cell, Anti-Gangster Task Force, and Faridkot Police, the two shooters were apprehended. In police interrogation, they confessed to killing Jaswant Singh Gill in Gwalior under Arsh Dalla's orders on November 7, 2024. After committing the crime, they returned to Punjab.

Arsh Dalla, now allied with Khalistani terrorists, is on the most-wanted list of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Delhi Police, and Punjab Police. With over 700 shooters under his command, he is involved in extortion, terror funding, financing, targeted killings, and drug smuggling, spreading hate and fear particularly in Punjab.

Dalla fled to Canada in 2020 and holds a passport issued by the Regional Passport Office in Jalandhar on September 1, 2017, valid until August 31, 2027. He resides in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, a place also inhabited by the now-deceased Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. With Nijjar's assistance, Dalla managed to flee India. Recently, Nijjar was assassinated by unknown individuals.

The relationship between India and Canada has been strained, particularly over these incidents. Before his assassination, Nijjar colluded with Dalla on Indian soil to conduct multiple heinous crimes, forming a terror organization with over 700 shooters. Their operations stretched from Pakistan to India.

Consequently, the Indian Home Ministry has declared him a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The NIA has designated him a fugitive, placing a bounty of five lakh rupees on his head. Despite Nijjar's death, Arsh Dalla maintains strong ties with notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his friend Goldy Brar, who are described as being close associates.
