The Indian smartphone market is about to welcome a new player—a homegrown contender offering an affordable phone loaded with powerful features. We're talking about Wobble. Previously known for their smart TVs, the brand is soon expanding into the smartphone arena.

Owned by Indkal, the Wobble brand was recently introduced. We had an exclusive discussion with Anand Dubey, the CEO of Indkal, who shared insights on Wobble phones and clarified the brand’s special focus on the Indian market.

Anand Dubey explained the vastness of the Indian market, emphasizing the diverse demands of Indian consumers. Catering to everyone with just one brand is difficult, hence Wobble aims to target the youth, providing technology, specs, and value for tech enthusiasts. From its camera to its chipset, consumers can expect a value-packed experience.

The company plans to launch three to four phones, not all at once but gradually over the year, introducing new models over time.

Dubey highlighted that the company's focus isn't restricted to online or offline markets alone. E-commerce allows for rapid brand reach, and their aim is to ensure Wobble smartphones are accessible both online and offline.

'For after-sale service, the company will rely on Indkal's existing network, known for its extensive operations. Having previously launched smartphones, we now have better experience in providing superior after-sale service starting from day one for Wobble smartphone buyers,' said Anand.

'If you want a high-performance phone with an excellent camera, expect to pay a premium price. Wobble enters this market gap, offering top-notch camera and processor performance. While we can't disclose specific specifications yet, you can expect affordability matched with premium features.'

Anand stated that the smartphones will feature premium attributes at affordable prices, which will be the brand's USP. The phones will be free from bloatware, running on stock Android, with a promise of updates for three years.
