The young women from Noida, whose video of performing stunts on a scooty and playing Holi in an obscene manner went viral, spoke to AajTak admitting their mistake and promising not to engage in such acts in the future. When questioned about the massive ₹33,000 fine imposed on their scooty, they pleaded for leniency, admitting they're financially challenged and unable to pay the fine.

In Noida, the two girls caught on camera playing Holi on a scooty were identified as Preeti and Vineeta, with Piyush behind the wheel. Preeti was the one who fell off the scooty while creating a video. The same duo appeared in another video that went viral from inside a Delhi Metro train. Video in the Metro wasn't vulgar? The creators explain

The footage shot inside the red line of the Delhi Metro was initially claimed to be AI-edited, but Preeti and Vineeta clarified that it was indeed genuine. When asked if they thought the metro video was spreading obscenity, Preeti regretfully agreed and acknowledged that it should not have been made. She confessed to limited understanding in this area and has never previously made such explicit videos, admitting that their usual content is far milder. Preeti, hailing from Uttarakhand, expressed her regret over the incident.

Living in Noida just for making reels: Preeti

Preeti explained that she moved to Delhi specifically to produce Instagram reels. Her father's financial struggles prevent her from continuing her studies. Her siblings, who are studying, depend on her earnings. Preeti detailed how she started making reels two years ago, initially in Haryana, before relocating to Noida. She joined forces with Piyush eight months ago, following which they started producing videos together. Prior to this, she had been creating content solo.

How did they come up with the idea for the video in the Metro?

On the viral Metro video, Preeti explained that they had already filmed other content previously. The concept involved fake blood in the mouth and wearing a white saree. They only took a little color for the shoot, used minimally on their cheeks, but still, it seemed vulgar to the public, even though Instagram has more explicit content.

What's next for the girls caught in the video controversy?

Asked about their next steps now that they've been caught, Vineeta stated that they want to assure the public they will refrain from making such videos if found offensive. They're committed to creating content that is well-received and continues to earn their viewers' love and support. Vineeta mentioned she is currently focusing on videos after putting her job aside for her passion for reels.

'We haven't earned enough to cover the fines'

The girls admitted they haven't earned enough to pay for the scooty fine. They pointed out that it was their very first video with the scooty and they operated it very slowly. Piyush, who drove the scooty, shared that he has passed 12th grade and lives with his family in Delhi. He works small jobs to get by.
