The new Kylaq Classic+ is positioned between the base Classic and Signature trims. Its standout feature is the availability of both manual and automatic gearbox options—an attribute not available in entry-level models previously. The variant boasts 16-inch alloy wheels, an electric sunroof, auto-dimming IRVM, automatic wipers, cruise control, and steering-mounted controls. Compared to the base model Classic, the Classic Plus variant, with its added features, is approximately 66,000 rupees more expensive. The automatic Kylaq is now about 85,000 rupees cheaper than before.

Significant changes have also been made in the mid-spec Signature and Signature+ variants of Skoda. Both trims now include features like a sunroof, rear wiper, automatic wipers, and paddle shifters in automatic models, features that were previously exclusive to the top variant. Despite these new additions, there's only a slight price increase, with the Signature variant now priced between 9.43 lakh and 10.43 lakh rupees and the Signature Plus priced between 10.77 lakh and 11.77 lakh rupees.

The new Prestige+ variant is presented with more features than Prestige. To highlight the distinction, the 6-way powered front seats have been removed from the old Prestige, reducing its cost by approximately 24,000 rupees. Despite this, the top variant of Kylaq maintains a price of 12.99 lakh rupees; however, this tag now belongs to Prestige+.

In summary, Skoda has made the Kylaq more appealing to various budgets and needs. With the introduction of new variants and feature updates, this compact SUV will intensify the competition in its segment. Skoda is also poised to launch the Kylaq Sportline variant soon, anticipated to come with a sportier look and cosmetic changes inside and out, with no expected changes in engine and mechanical setup.
