In the capital city of Delhi, liquor shops will remain open during Holi this year. The excise department has clarified that Holi is no longer part of the dry day list. This change was issued in an order by the department on January 15.

With this decision, the sale of alcohol will continue as usual on the day of the festival. According to the excise department, Delhi will only have five dry days this year, during which the sale of alcohol is strictly prohibited.
