Congress Unveils Second Candidate List; Scions of Kamal Nath and Ashok Gehlot Secures Nominations

The Congress party has announced its second wave of contenders for the Lok Sabha elections, providing tickets to 43 hopefuls, including new entrants and political legacies in key seats.

The Election Commission is poised to announce dates for the upcoming general elections, sparking all political parties into preparing for the Lok Sabha battles. Congress has now unveiled its second list of candidates for 43 seats.

This roster includes Kamal Nath's son Nakul Nath for the Chhindwara seat and newly Congress-joined Rahul Kaswan for Churu, underlining strategic nominations and political maneuvers.

In addition, Vaibhav Gehlot, son of Ashok Gehlot, will contest from Jalore while notable leaders such as Gaurav Gogoi and Sushmita Dev are set to represent Jorhat and Silchar respectively. Reflecting on diversity, the list comprises of 7 general, 13 OBC, 10 SC, 9 ST, and 1 Muslim candidate.
