Notably, areas like Pragati Maidan and ITO have recorded an AQI of 357, which falls under the 'very poor' category, with the smog cover persisting.

At 7 am, Delhi's average AQI was 406. Over the past 48 hours, the AQI has persistently stayed within the severe and severe-plus categories. Currently, the wind speed is low, the temperature is down, and the humidity is high, all contributing to the enveloping smog.
