After the explosion at Rameshwaram Cafe in Brookefield, Bengaluru, police have yet to identify any suspects. However, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah claimed that important clues have been found in the case, and expects the culprit to be apprehended within a day or two. Following a high-level meeting with the Director-General of Police, Dr. G. Parameshwara has formed eight teams to investigate. Around 50 CCTV cameras are being scrutinized. At the time of the explosion, 26 buses were gathered at the cafe, and these bus CCTVs are also under review.

The Home Minister indicated that the police are looking into whether the motive was to create a sense of insecurity in Bangalore or to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere given the thriving investments in Karnataka. Thus, business rivalry is being scrutinized. He assured that the perpetrator would soon be in police custody.

The owner of Rameshwaram Cafe, which operates 11 units, was planning to open a new outlet and had already made an advance payment. Dr. G. Parameshwara stated, "We will resolve this case soon. No matter how challenging the case, our department will unravel it." He urged the public to trust official statements rather than speculation, which has been rampant on social media post-blast.

The investigative updates reveal the use of an IED, but it raises questions about its origin, the mastermind behind this scheme, and the identity of the mysterious person who appears to have vanished into the high-tech city of Bangalore. Although answers may take time, Karnataka's Home Minister is neither acknowledging nor denying the possibility of a terrorist plot.
