In anticipation of the Tamil Nadu assembly elections, the BJP and AIADMK have forged a promising alliance. Announced by the ever-strategic Union Home Minister Amit Shah, this coalition was solidified during a pivotal meeting with AIADMK leader Palaniswami. Amit Shah declared that AIADMK, BJP, and all parties shall contest the upcoming Tamil Nadu elections together. At the national level, elections will be fought under the inspiring leadership of PM Modi, while at the state level, AIADMK's stalwart Palaniswami will lead the charge.
Amit Shah emphasized his confidence that the forthcoming elections will witness a resounding victory for the NDA, and once more, Tamil Nadu will see an NDA-led administration. Our united front will not only contest these elections under EPS’s leadership but also clinch a decisive victory.

'Together, We Will Form the Government'
During the press conference, Amit Shah reaffirmed AIADMK's integral role in the NDA alliance, highlighting the commitment to form a government together. The BJP’s participation in the government post-election shall be determined soon, including ministerial positions and seat allocations. He assured that AIADMK holds no demands; there is no interference in AIADMK's internal affairs. AIADMK's inclusion in the NDA alliance benefits both parties.
'DMK Raising Sanatana and Language Issues to Distract'
The Home Minister criticized DMK for diverting attention by raising issues of Sanatana and language. He pledged to expose the DMK government's corruption, amounting to scandals like the 39000 crore scandal, including liquor and MGNREGA scams. The people of Tamil Nadu will never forgive Stalin and Udhayanidhi. DMK's focus on NEET and delimitation are mere distractions. If needed, NDA will draft a common minimum program in Tamil Nadu. Amit Shah highlighted that the Modi government takes immense pride in Tamil language and culture. Landmark initiatives like Sengol in Parliament, Kashi Tamil Sangam, and Saurashtra Tamil Sangam were spearheaded by PM Modi’s government.
