Meerut's Lok Sabha candidate and actor known for portraying Lord Ram in the epic series Ramayana, Arun Govil's tweet has taken social media by storm. He had posted earlier on account X, expressing disillusionment: 'Anger at ourselves bubbles up more than at anyone else when the dual nature of a person comes to light, realizing how blindly we trusted them. Jai Shri Ram.'

Though Govil did not name anyone in his tweet, it created a stir online, rapidly gaining traction and becoming a subject for trolls. Consequently, he deleted the post from his account. The matter has become the talk of the digital town and all efforts to seek Arun Govil's comment on the issue have been met with silence.
