Apple surprises tech enthusiasts yet again, launching the iPhone 16E ahead of its usual September schedule. While we await the iPhone 17 series, Apple delights fans with this affordable innovation, albeit not quite pocket-friendly for all.

Apple asserts that the iPhone 16E boasts an all-day battery life. The company highlights that their custom-designed chipset significantly boosts battery performance, including an impressive claim of 26 hours of video playback.

The iPhone SE is officially retired as Apple shifts towards the E series, introducing the intelligent iPhone 16E.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 16E begin this Friday, with sales commencing on February 28. It offers a powerful A18 chipset, a hallmark of excellence also found in the iPhone 16 series.

iPhone 16E: Specifications

The iPhone 16E features a singular 48-megapixel rear camera, maintaining a design language similar to the iPhone 16, including a USB Type-C port.

Enjoy brilliant visuals on the iPhone 16E’s 6.1-inch OLED display. It supports Face ID but omits Touch ID for enhanced security.

The iPhone 16E houses a customizable action button, albeit lacking the camera control present in the iPhone 16 series.

The device shares the robust A18 chipset with the iPhone 16, integrating Apple Intelligence, a feature absent in the iPhone 15.

This groundbreaking iPhone is the first to utilize Apple’s proprietary modem, transitioning from previous Qualcomm models. If successful, the brand plans to continue this trend.

iPhone SE India Price

The iPhone 16E launches in three configurations in India: the base variant at INR 59,900 (128GB), INR 69,900 for the 256GB variant, and INR 89,900 for the 512GB option. Available in striking black and white hues.

Pre-orders in India and 58 other countries begin from February 21, with sales officially starting on February 28. An additional silicone cover, available in five colors, can be purchased for an extra INR 3,900.

iPhone SE Satellite Calling Feature

Equipped with a cutting-edge 3nm A18 chipset, the iPhone 16E mirrors innovations first seen in September 2024’s iPhone 16.

This device readily supports Apple Intelligence and 5G connectivity, alongside wireless charging. Additionally, Apple's satellite-based Emergency SOS service enhances user safety.

Experience visual intelligence with the iPhone 16E, activated via the action button, consistent with the iPhone 16 lineup.
