Anurag Posts His Frustration
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap shared a post on his official Instagram handle that reads, 'I have helped many newcomers and am now exhausted by it. Time-wasting meetings with self-proclaimed 'geniuses' are over. From now on, it's ₹100k for 10-15 minutes if anyone wants to meet.'
Fees for Meetings
He further writes, 'For a half-hour it will be ₹200k and for a full hour, the fee is ₹500k. These are my rates. I’m tired of wasting time holding meetings. If you truly believe you can afford this, give me a call; otherwise, don't bother. Payments need to be made in advance.'
Daughter Aaliyah's Take
In the caption of this post, Anurag Kashyap also penned a significant thought, stating, 'Do not message, call, or DM me. Pay the money and get the time. I don't run a charity. I'm tired of people looking for shortcuts.' In response to his post, director Shekhar Kapur commented, 'Really Anurag, sometimes I feel the same.' Meanwhile, Anurag's daughter Aaliyah Kashyap says, 'I'm forwarding this to people sitting in my messages and emails, consistently sending me scripts for you.'
