It was on a Friday when this distressing incident occurred in the Narayanpur area of the Tarkulwa region. Two eighth-grade students had cycled to school, where they had exams. They departed for home at around 10 AM. The route they took usually had fields. Almost 600 meters from the school, the scary episode began, searing fear into their hearts.
As the two girls cycled, four men on bikes stalked them, eventually surrounding and harassing them. The girls fell from their bicycles. The goons attempted to drag the girls into the fields. Panicking, the girls screamed for help, which fortunately reached nearby residents who rushed in, chasing the bikers away. This entire sequence was recorded on nearby CCTV cameras.
In response to this event, Cabinet Minister Surya Pratap Shahi stated that the perpetrators fled from the scene on bikes, and no harassment video exists. The Superintendent of Police has been instructed to take appropriate action, and those responsible will face consequences.
