The Afghan team is currently touring Zimbabwe, where they will play three T20s, three ODIs, and two Test matches. Trott will only be available for the ODI series, as personal commitments prevent his participation in the T20 and Test series. The statement added that in Trott’s absence, Hamid Hassan will serve as head coach, with Nawroz Mangal as assistant head coach.
