During his address in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, CM Yogi Adityanath highlighted the Kumbh Mela. He proudly announced that nothing marred the spiritual gathering attended by 330 million women. A total of 670 million devotees thronged the Kumbh without a single report of crime.

Criticizing the Samajwadi Party, CM Yogi remarked, “You (Samajwadi Party) meddle with the faith of India. You've labeled our outlook communal, but how can it be when we advocate development for all? The 45-day Kumbh not only left a remarkable legacy in India but across the globe.”

While speaking about the Kumbh in Prayagraj, CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized, “Over 660 million visitors from India and across the world attended the 45-day Kumbh. Among them, nearly half were women, yet zero incidents of harassment were reported. More people than expected came and bathed in the sacred waters, leaving spiritually enriched. The international media also lauded the Prayagraj Kumbh.”

Continuing, CM Yogi added, “Today’s Samajwadi Party merely uses Dr. Lohia’s name but has deviated from his ideals. SP has forgotten Dr. Lohia's conduct, principles, and doctrines. He stated that Vishnu, Shankar, and Ram are the keystones of India's unity, although the Samajwadi Party does not adhere to this belief. We emphasize inclusivity and development for everyone. The Kumbh epitomized India’s unique heritage and progress. There was no discrimination based on caste, religion, or region during the event.”

According to CM Yogi, 663 million individuals took a sacred dip during this year's Kumbh, marking it as the world's largest spiritual gathering. Its global acclamation sees it as no less than a miracle. Yet, some individuals seem to focus only on shortcomings.
