Businessman Bhavesh Bhai Bhandari and his wife from Himmatnagar, Sabarkantha district in Gujarat have decided to become ascetics. Bhavesh has donated his wealth worth crores of rupees. He has renounced worldly attachments to embrace a monastic life. Bhavesh Bhai Bhandari was born into a prosperous family in Himmatnagar and was accustomed to all the luxuries. In the Jain community, he frequented meetings with initiates and spiritual leaders.

Two years ago, Bhavesh Bhai's 16-year-old son and 19-year-old daughter chose the path of renunciation and took initiation. Following their children's initiation in 2022, Bhavesh Bhai and his wife have now decided to embrace a disciplined life.

Bhavesh Bhai Bhandari has turned away from worldly attachments and donated property worth over 200 crores. He had a building construction business in Ahmedabad. Now, he has decided to leave all his work and become an ascetic.

Acquaintance Dilip Gandhi mentioned that initiation holds significant importance in the Jain community. An initiated person has to live by begging, forsaking comforts like AC, fans, and mobile phones. Furthermore, they must walk barefoot all over India.

Businessman Bhavesh Bhai from Himmatnagar, who is set to become an ascetic through Jain initiation, had a grand farewell parade in Himmatnagar that was about 4 kilometers long. During the event, he donated all his wealth worth approximately 200 crores rupees.

Acquaintance Dikul Gandhi shared that on April 22, at Himmatnagar Riverfront, 35 people, including the Bhandari family from Himmatnagar, will commence a disciplined life. Dikul Gandhi remarked that only individuals who can renounce wealth worth crores have the right to lead a restrained life.

It is worth noting that previously, Bhavarlal Jain, another wealthy individual, made headlines for deciding to become an initiate, forgoing his wealth to lead a disciplined life.
