With the rapid adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), many individuals are anxious about their job security. Numerous reports have suggested that AI poses a threat to millions of jobs. However, a determined 10th-grade student defied these concerns by leveraging AI to earn over 150,000 rupees in just two months. This revelation comes from a viral post circulating on the social media platform, Reddit.
The viral Reddit post claims that a 10th-grade student successfully used AI to create and sell websites, making over 150,000 rupees within two months. Reddit user Academic-Voice-6526, known for their work on AI innovation, shared this inspiring student story, which has been widely circulated.
The post reads, 'We often hear the phrase "India is not for beginners," and yesterday, I truly felt its essence. AI is overtaking jobs, and many are fearful about unemployment and the future. I've also been reflecting on this, especially since we run an AI platform. Yesterday, I was checking user analytics to understand how people are utilizing our AI website builder platform.'
The post continues, 'There was a user with the username "Musk". They regularly used the service, purchasing credits, and creating websites almost daily. Curious, I checked their profile and discovered they are a 10th-grade student.'

The founder of the AI website builder platform further explained that the student was creating pager websites for small businesses using local community connections, Reddit, social media platforms, and school networks. Despite not being a coder, the student successfully built and sold eight websites in two months, earning $250-300 per website, surpassing a total of 150,000 rupees.
It's notable that a recent World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report 2025 indicated that AI threatens 92 million jobs worldwide. By 2030, millions of jobs may vanish, while 170 million new jobs could emerge, driven primarily by technological advancements, green transitions, and economic and demographic shifts. Though the use of AI is rapidly expanding, the viral Reddit post's claim of the 10th-grade student earning over 150,000 rupees in two months has yet to be verified.
