In the Saurabh murder case, accused Muskan and her lover Sahil are unveiling new revelations from within the Chaudhary Charan Singh district jail in Meerut. Muskan's parents have now distanced themselves, expressing disassociation from the matter. Her father asserted that neither will they visit Muskan nor advocate for her, as they fight for truth, not for cases like these. Meanwhile, Muskan's mother reiterated that despite being her biological mother, Muskan was more attached to her aunt, thus calling her a stepmother.
As per the information, Muskan requested the jail authorities for a public defender to fight her case. No family member has visited or provided her legal aid yet. Consequently, the jail administration deliberated under the stipulated protocols and submitted a petition to the court to appoint her a public defender.

The jail administration emphasizes their duty to provide legal assistance to inmates. If anyone formally requests a government-appointed lawyer, they are obligated to facilitate it. Muskan is attempting to remain hidden within the jail. She wanted to be with Sahil, but due to the jail's regulations, male and female inmates are kept separately, leading to the denial of this request.
Struggling with Addiction!
Both Muskan and Sahil, accused in the Saurabh Rajput murder, were entrenched in severe drug addiction. Aimed to sever their drug dependence, the jail authorities have disclosed this ongoing process. As per Senior District Superintendent Dr. Viresh, every inmate undergoes a health examination upon arrival. During this examination, it was discovered that Muskan and Sahil were drug addicts. Immediate medical intervention ensued, followed by administering medicines for de-addiction.
Furthermore, techniques like counseling and meditation are being employed to support their recovery. The administration is hopeful that in 10 to 15 days, there will be significant improvement. Muskan has not thought of her daughter since her incarceration. The jail administration remains vigilant on her security and medical arrangements. According to jail officials, if necessary, arrangements for a psychiatrist through the medical college will be made.
