The police in Bathinda, Punjab have taken significant action in the sensational murder case of renowned Instagram influencer Kanchan Kumari, also known as Kamal Kaur. The police have identified Amritpal Mehrun as a suspect, along with the arrest of his two accomplices. The SSP plans to unveil the case through a press conference. It all began on Wednesday evening when panic ensued upon discovering a young woman’s body inside a car at the orders hospital parking lot.
The deceased was identified as Kanchan Kumari, known as Kamal Kaur from Ludhiana, a social media sensation with millions of followers as 'Insta Queen.' Her body was discovered in her own car. Upon arrival, police suspected that the murder took place elsewhere, and the body was strategically placed in the car outside the hospital. The initial examination said it is clearly not a case of natural death.

SP City Narinder Singh stated that on June 9th, Kanchan left Ludhiana for Bathinda to attend an event promotion, after which she lost contact with her family. Extensive searches provided no clues, leading to a formal report. A new development in the investigation has surfaced with the involvement of Amritpal Mehrun. The police have apprehended his two associates and are in questioning.

The 30-year-old Kanchan, alias Kamal Kaur Bhabhi, had amassed 384,000 followers on Instagram. She also managed a YouTube channel 'Funny Bhabhi TV' with 236,000 subscribers. According to police, she left her Ludhiana home on June 9th, informing her mother she was headed to a promotional event, post which she became unreachable.

Local residents of Bhucho suburb alerted police about a foul smell from a car in the orders university parking. Upon investigation, police found a woman deceased in the car's rear seat. Bathinda's Superintendent of Police (City) Narinder Singh mentioned that they are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas. Kamal Kaur's sister disclosed that her mother attempted to contact Kanchan on June 10th, but her mobile was switched off.
Months ago, it was alleged that a foreign gangster warned Kanchan concerning her video content, displeased with Kamal Kaur's work. According to police, a person is seen entering the parking at 5:33 AM on June 10th with a car. After parking the car, the individual was seen walking away. The autopsy will reveal the cause and timing of the death. Multiple police teams are diving deep into this investigation.
