A young man from Punjab met a fateful end in the UK when a wall collapsed on him during work. The deceased, identified as Ikraman Singh (25), was the son of Mohan Singh from Prem Nagar, Gurdaspur. The news of Ikraman's death has left the family in deep shock, with grief overwhelming them all. Ikraman had embarked on his journey abroad with hopes of securing a brighter future through education.
Ikraman's father, Mohan Singh, recounted that his son had traveled to the UK in 2020 on a study visa. On December 15, they got a phone call from the Indian embassy conveying the heartbreaking news of his son's demise due to a falling wall at work.

Family Appeals for Repatriation of Body
The bereaved family has urged both the Punjab and central government for the prompt repatriation of their son's body to India to conduct his last rites. Ikraman was scheduled to return home next year, but fate, alas, had other plans.
