A severe case of fraud running into crores shook the account holders at North Bihar Gramin Bank in Sitamarhi. The discovery of missing funds led to a tumultuous scene at the bank branch. Following the uproar, Regional Manager Prabhat Kumar assured a thorough investigation and vowed to take action against the offenders and return the people’s money.
One accountholder arrived at the Bairgania branch to withdraw funds and was stunned to find his account insufficiently funded. The realization of the missing funds sent account holders into a frenzy.

As news of one missing account's funds spread, others rushed to check their own accounts, only to find their money also missing. Panic set in as a crowd of customers filled the bank, demanding the return of their vanished funds amidst the commotion.
Upon learning of the incident, Regional Manager Prabhat Kumar quickly arrived at the scene, promising action based on the investigation’s findings.
The situation escalated to such an extent that the police had to be called in to manage the crowd. Approximately five crores seem to have vanished from the bank accounts of the accountholders. Bank officials are now assuring that actions will follow post-investigation. Zonal Manager Prabhat Kumar has stated that the matter is under rigorous scrutiny, and further action will be decided based on the investigation results.
