Turkey on Israel-Iran War:
The conflict between Iran and Israel has escalated significantly, taking a heavy toll on both nations in terms of lives and economy. The rising tensions have deepened the crisis across the Middle East and the world at large.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Turkey's capital, Istanbul, today (Saturday). Here, he met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Their meeting focused on the war and encompassed several crucial topics.
After the meeting, Erdogan conveyed a significant diplomatic message to the world. He stated that Turkey is fully prepared to mediate between the United States and Iran.
President Erdogan emphasized the necessity for direct dialogue between Iranian and American officials to end the war. The sooner this can be achieved, the quicker peace can be restored, allowing the nations to return to normalcy.

The Turkish presidential office released a statement indicating that resolving Iran's nuclear issues through dialogue is the only viable option. The use of force is not a solution.
The meeting between Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas and Turkish President Erdogan occurred during the OIC summit. Turkey's defense minister, foreign minister, and intelligence chief were also in attendance.
President Erdogan mentioned that Turkey has proposed multiple initiatives to halt the Iran-Israel conflict, engaging discussions with various countries.
During the Islamic Cooperation Organization summit, Iranian Foreign Minister and Qatar’s Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani also convened.
