President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan to end the war in Gaza and restore peace in the region has been welcomed by eight Arab and Muslim-majority countries.
Arising from discussions between Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the plan proposes an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages held by Hamas within 72 hours. However, Hamas has yet to accept this peace proposal.
Foreign ministers from Jordan, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt have welcomed this peace plan. According to a joint statement, these ministers emphasized the importance of partnership with the US in ensuring peace in the region.

Endorsement for Trump-Netanyahu Proposal
A joint statement noted that the countries have embraced President Trump's proposal to end the war, rebuild Gaza, prevent the displacement of Palestinian people, and advance comprehensive peace.
The eight foreign ministers confirmed their commitment to working with the US through a comprehensive agreement to end the war in Gaza. The joint statement emphasized that this initiative is a decisive step towards rebuilding Gaza, preventing the displacement of Palestinians, and ensuring the unhindered supply of humanitarian aid.
