Tragic Accident in Mainpuri, UP: Two Lost Lives

A heart-wrenching road accident in Mainpuri district, Uttar Pradesh, claimed the lives of two young men. On Wednesday evening, an unknown vehicle struck the bikers near Souj village, leading them to collide with an electric pole. The deceased have been identified as Sachin Kumar and his brother-in-law, Dharmendra Kumar. Police investigations are underway to locate the vehicle.

Tragedy struck in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday evening when two young lives were lost in a harrowing road accident. Their motorcycle was hit by an unidentified vehicle, destabilizing it and causing it to crash into a roadside electric pole.

According to a report from a news agency, the incident occurred near Souj village, where 21-year-old Sachin Kumar and his 24-year-old brother-in-law, Dharmendra Kumar, tragically lost their lives on the spot.

The duo was returning from a family event on their bike. It's reported that Sachin visited his sister in Rampura village and was heading back to Kishni with Dharmendra. Inspector Arvind Kumar Singh of the Kurra Police Station reported that as they rode back, a fast-moving, unidentified vehicle hit them from behind near Souj village.

The impact was so severe that the bike veered out of control and collided with a nearby electric pole. Both young men were critically injured. Immediately after the incident, nearby locals informed the police, and the injured were rushed to Safai Medical College, where doctors declared them deceased.

Inspector Arvind Kumar Singh stated that the bodies have been sent for postmortem, and the families have been notified. Meanwhile, the police are on the lookout for the unknown vehicle and its driver. Efforts are being made to identify the culprit through CCTV footage from the area. The incident has left the victims' families devastated, casting a pall of grief over the village.
