Rising Stars of Bhojpuri Cinema Perish in Kaimur Road Accident

In a devastating road accident on Monday in Kaimur, Bihar, four rising stars of Bhojpuri cinema were among the nine lives lost.

Police reported on Monday that in the crash between a truck, SUV, and motorcycle in Kaimur district, Bhojpuri singer Chhotu Pandey was among those who perished. Additionally, the tragic accident claimed the lives of Bhojpuri actresses Aanchal Tiwari and Simran Srivastava.

The incident occurred near Devkali village in the Mohania police area on GT Road on Sunday evening. DSP Dilip Kumar of Mohania stated that the identification of the deceased was completed on Monday, including Bhojpuri singer Vimlesh Pandey, known as Chhotu Pandey.

Other victims identified include Aanchal Tiwari, Simran Srivastava, Prakash Ram, Dadhibal Singh, Anu Pandey, Shashi Pandey, Satya Prakash Mishra, and Baagish Pandey. Witnesses say the accident happened when a vehicle carrying eight people, including two women, first collided with a motorcycle.

Subsequently, both the SUV and the bike veered into the opposite lane, where they were hit by a fast-moving truck. All nine individuals, including the motorcycle rider, died at the scene. The truck driver fled after the accident.
