A harrowing incident has emerged from the heart of Uttar Pradesh's capital, Lucknow. A man, overwhelmed by the loss of his wife and the sorrow of being separated from his three-year-old daughter, took his own life by hanging. The deceased, identified as Vishnu Kamta Prasad Verma, resided on Birbal Sahni Marg in the Mahanagar police precinct. Authorities confirm that further investigation is underway.

Indeed, a three-page suicide note was discovered at the scene. In this note, Vishnu Kamta held his wife's family responsible for driving him to suicide. The note revealed that his wife, Shalini Soni, had been suffering from chronic skin disease and ulcers, despite receiving continuous medical treatment. In the midst of this turmoil, Vishnu found his sole solace in his 3-year-old daughter, Ridhima, whom his in-laws removed from his custody, denying him the opportunity to meet her.

Father's Appeal in the Suicide Note

In his final note, Vishnu appealed for his daughter to be entrusted to his mother or sister after his demise. He left a poignant message for his daughter, 'Ridhima, your father always loved you dearly and always will.'

Currently, based on the suicide note, the police have registered an FIR against his in-laws, Bharat Soni, Mamta Soni, Santosh Soni, and Akash Soni, and investigations are ongoing.
