Startling revelations continue to surface regarding the Porsche car accident in Pune. The luxury car involved in the crash that claimed the lives of young engineers Ashwini Koshta and Anish Avadhia was gifted by the minor's grandfather, Surendra Agarwal. Aman Wadhwa, a friend of Surendra, told India Today that two months ago, Surendra had shared an image of the luxury car in a WhatsApp group, claiming it to be a birthday gift for his grandson.
Following the Porsche car accident, Surendra Agarwal was arrested under allegations of threatening his driver Gangaram and coercing him to falsely claim he was driving during the incident. Reportedly, Gangaram was held for two days at Surendra Agarwal's residence.
Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar stated that the minor, in full consciousness, ran the Porsche over a bike, leading to the instantaneous death of Ashwini Koshta and Anish Avadhia. Kumar disclosed that there was an attempt to implicate Gangaram in the accident rather than the minor.
He mentioned that the police investigation has unearthed several shocking facets. According to the police report, Gangaram's mobile phone is missing, and there has been tampering with the CCTV footage at Surendra Agarwal's home.
Surinder Agarwal has been remanded in police custody until May 28. During the remand hearing, Aman Wadhwa brought new clothes for him at the family's request. Wadhwa revealed that he had known Surinder Agarwal for the past eight months through community groups.
Aman Wadhwa stated that while Surinder Agarwal was in custody, a person named Nipun had called him to deliver clothes. Moreover, he accompanied Surinder Agarwal to the Pune Crime Branch when Surinder Agarwal's son Vishal was evading arrest, and Surinder Agarwal was called for interrogation.
