Several regions across India are currently experiencing heavy downpours. The active Southwest Monsoon is bringing excessive rainfall to some areas, whereas others are seeing usual monsoon showers. Alerts for heavy rains have been issued today for states like Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Goa, and Maharashtra.

The nation's capital can expect overcast skies and light showers today, July 14th. Along with the monsoon rains, humid conditions are likely to prevail throughout the day. According to the IMD, temperatures in Delhi for the week are expected to range between 32 and 35 degrees Celsius maximum, and 26 to 28 degrees Celsius minimum.

Forecasting agency Skymet suggests an extended monsoon trough line from Amritsar through Chandigarh, Meerut, Shahjahanpur, Barabanki, Muzaffarpur, Asansol, Krishnanagar, stretching eastward from the northeastern region of the Bay of Bengal. Additionally, a cyclonic circulation is forming over northeast Assam and its surrounding regions.
