The intense conflict between Thailand and Cambodia over the last three days has resulted in 33 fatalities, including 13 Thai civilians, 7 soldiers, 8 Cambodian civilians, and 5 soldiers. Over 130 people have been injured, and more than 150,000 have been displaced due to the ongoing war.

India has responded to the Thailand-Cambodia conflict.

Responding to media inquiries, Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated, 'We are vigilantly observing the developments along the Thailand-Cambodia border. India maintains close and friendly relations with both nations, and we hope that both parties will take measures to uphold peace and prevent further escalation.'

He added that Indian citizens in the region are advised to contact the relevant Indian embassies for any kind of assistance.

Thailand Advances Amidst Brutal Temple Dispute with Cambodia

The fierce battle between Cambodia and Thailand rages on. Once staunch allies, the two countries are now locked in a destructive confrontation. Thailand employs fighter aircraft and artillery assaults, while Cambodia counters with minefields to block land incursions. Reports suggest Cambodia has utilized the Russian BM-21 rocket system, causing significant damage in Thailand.

Thai forces have advanced 300 meters into Cambodian territory, igniting the dispute rooted in a centuries-old temple known as the Preah Vihear Temple. As a result, 130,000 individuals have been evacuated from border areas, and 500 schools have been shuttered. Thailand has imposed martial law across eight districts.
