The survey indicates that 45% of respondents place honesty as their top criteria for leaders. They demand transparent, honest candidates to ensure swift and efficient local development. Meanwhile, 13% focus on the political parties themselves, considering the party symbol of paramount importance before casting their vote.

Desire for Educated Leaders
12% of the survey's participants value a candidate's educational credentials, believing well-educated politicians are better equipped to make informed decisions for the public good. Another 12% give weight to experience, preferring seasoned leaders for effective governance.
A proportion of 6% deems the manifestos crucial; they prioritize how candidates will address critical issues. Additionally, 5% rely on a candidate's popularity to determine their suitability for leadership.
Age and Caste Also Influence Choices
For 2%, the age of a leader plays a role, as they seek physically and socially active representatives. Another 2% are concerned with the candidate's criminal history, while ethnicity guides 2% in assessing their representation. Conversely, a mere 1% consider a candidate's wealth as a factor.
