Jaya Prada Targets Aam Aadmi Party

Addressing the students in Old Rajendra Nagar, Jaya Prada said, 'I respect all of you. I understand your pain; you have been sitting here for four days. As a mother with a son, I came all the way from Hyderabad for you. I see you as my children and tried to understand your perspective. It is said that AAP has let the people of Delhi down. Do you all only want to make money? We will be your voice.' These words from Jaya Prada inflamed the students further, leading them to direct harsh words towards her.

Students Demand She Leave

In response to Jaya Prada's statements, the protesting students said, 'Your party is in power at the center, appointing the MCD Commissioner and LGs. You are equally responsible. Your children study abroad; first, sit with us for an hour, then speak but do not politicize the issue.' The students also chanted 'Go Back' at her.

On Saturday, the basement of a coaching center in Old Rajendra Nagar flooded, leading to the tragic deaths of three students. Since then, student anger has escalated significantly.
