Amidst this, former BJP MP and actress Jaya Prada visited the protesting students in Old Rajendra Nagar, attempting to speak with them. However, her sympathy was not well-received by the students, who felt that her visit was politically motivated.
Jaya Prada Targets Aam Aadmi Party
Addressing the students in Old Rajendra Nagar, Jaya Prada said, 'I respect all of you. I understand your pain; you have been sitting here for four days. As a mother with a son, I came all the way from Hyderabad for you. I see you as my children and tried to understand your perspective. It is said that AAP has let the people of Delhi down. Do you all only want to make money? We will be your voice.' These words from Jaya Prada inflamed the students further, leading them to direct harsh words towards her.
