The honor was given by Kannauj SP himself, who later ordered his arrest. It was revealed that when a case was filed against Nawab Singh Yadav, he already had 16 other cases registered against him. In Kannauj city Kotwali and Tirva police stations, there are cases including three under the Gangsters Act and attempt to murder.

Nawab Singh Yadav is accused of attempting to rape a 15-year-old minor girl. It is reported that a call was made to 112 emergency number at 1:30 am. The police team reported that the call was from a minor girl, who complained that an attempt was made to rape her.
