Congress Launches 'Nyay Yatra' for Justice to Victims of the TRP Game Zone Fire and Morbi Bridge Tragedy, With Rahul, Priyanka, and Kharge in Attendance

In response to the Rajkot TRP Game Zone fire incident, the Congress party is maintaining its aggressive stance. The Gujarat Congress has announced the commencement of a 300-kilometer 'Nyay Yatra' from Morbi to Rajkot, passing through Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, starting August 9.

The Congress party has aggressively condemned the Rajkot TRP Game Zone fire, wherein the authorities and owners have been held accountable. However, BJP leaders from Rajkot Municipal Corporation, IAS, and IPS officers were given a clean slate. Hence, the Congress has announced a 300-kilometer 'Nyay Yatra' from Morbi to Rajkot via Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, commencing on August 9.

The 'Nyay Yatra' will be conducted as a foot march. Significantly, Congress leaders including opposition leader in Lok Sabha and MP Rahul Gandhi, his sister and General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and opposition leader Mallikarjun Kharge, have been invited to join this march by Gujarat Congress. Many are likely to participate on various days.

Yatra Begins on August 9

The 'Nyay Yatra' will commence from the Morbi bridge accident site on August 9 and reach Rajkot by August 11, where Congress will host an event at the TRP Game Zone site. Following this, the march will pass through Chotila, Surendranagar, Viramgam, and Sanand, reaching Ahmedabad for a grand event at Gandhi Ashram.

Corruption Jar to be Carried During the March

By August 22 or 23, the march will reach Gandhinagar, where another event will be held. Families affected by the TRP Game Zone fire and other accidents in the state will join this march. During this foot march, a jar symbolizing BJP's corruption will be carried, allowing people from various cities to submit their grievances to be shattered in Gandhinagar.

Under the leadership of Congress Seva Dal President Lalji Desai and MLA Jignesh Mevani, 100 people will undertake this entire journey. Congress leaders and locals from different cities will also join these marches, including Gujarat Congress leaders Shaktisinh Gohil, opposition leader Amit Chavda, and Gujarat Congress in-charge Mukul Wasnik.

MLA Jignesh Mevani expressed hope that national Congress leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and Kharge will participate. Further marches from Surat and Vadodara are planned to keep pressuring the government. Congress pledges to continuously fight against injustice and aim to challenge the BJP government by 2027, with intentions of securing governance in Gujarat.
