In the vibrant town of Sirohi, Rajasthan, a speeding tanker filled with mustard oil suddenly overturned. The moment it toppled, a crowd of locals gathered, bringing along containers to grab the free-flowing oil. This incident occurred as the tanker tried to avoid hitting a motorcyclist.
The accident resulted in injuries to two young motorcyclists and the tanker driver. All three were quickly taken to the government hospital in Pindwara for medical care. Officer Seetaram from the Pindwara police station stated that upon receiving the news, police arrived at the scene and managed to disperse the crowd effectively.
Tanker Spills Mustard Oil
With the help of a crane, the truck was removed from the spot, and soil was spread on the road to clean the spilled oil, preventing any further accidents. Traffic resumed smoothly after a brief interruption.
Officer Seetaram reported that the tanker was transporting hundreds of liters of mustard oil from Gandhi Dham in Gujarat to Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh. The driver, Sanwariya, hails from Kekri in Rajasthan and sustained minor injuries, for which he has received treatment.
Minor Injuries Sustained by Three Individuals
According to reports, around 4 PM on Friday evening, in front of Choudhary Hotel on the highway, two inebriated bikers recklessly moved into the path of the tanker. In a bid to avoid a collision, the tanker overturned. The police are conducting an investigation and will take appropriate actions based on their findings.
